This course serves as a comprehensive guide for beginning to intermediate marimba playing. It is the most comprehensive marimba course available and is designed to replicate the experience of taking private marimba lessons with a competent private marimba instructor.

Our goal with this program is to build a course that teaches a child all of the essentials correctly from the start; things like learning basic stick and mallet grips to building your muscles and instrument know-how, read and interpret marimba musical notation, playing different pitches, various styles of mallet strokes, Identify each of the main marimba voiced instruments, and play dynamics properly, to name a few.

We incorporate exercises and training material into each stage of the learning process to ensure that you are always aware of what you should work on, what you should practice, and how to accomplish it. Throughout this course, we will also cover songs of increasing difficulty, so that each song will present a new challenge and allow the youngster to practice previously learned techniques.
